Chris is licensed by the Department of Health and Human Services of the State of New Hampshire to practice Acupuncture. He is a Nationally Certified Diplomate in Acupuncture by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). Chris is a current member and also held the position of President of the New Hampshire Association for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NHAAOM) from 2003 to 2005.
Chris holds a Bachelor of Science in Clinical Laboratory Sciences from the University of Rhode Island, and received his Masters of Acupuncture from the New England School of Acupuncture (NESA) in Watertown, MA. While at NESA, he studied and trained in traditional Chinese, Japanese, and Korean styles of acupuncture. He received special training in Japanese acupuncture from world-renowned Japanese acupuncturist T. Koei Kuwahara. Chris was educated in Medical Qigong methods (traditional Chinese energy work) with qigong master Zhang Yuanming. Master Zhang is the founder of the Palace of the Heavenly Dragon in China and a consultant to the United Nations Qigong Society. Chris has trained under Zachary Parsons Lic. Ac. of Boston to level 3 in craniosacral methods with special focus on integration of acupuncture and craniosacral methods.
Chris is a resident of Amherst, New Hampshire and is married with two step-children. He is also a former martial arts instructor with a 2nd degree black belt in traditional Kung Fu, Bagwa, and Tai Chi.
